The Galileoscope™ is a high-quality, low-cost telescope kit developed for the International Year of Astronomy 2009 by Merit Models along with a team of leading astronomers, optical engineers, and science educators.

Merit Models was recently presented with a commendation by the International Astronomical Union for their work in developing and manufacturing the Galileoscope™.
